Emergency Assistance Plus (EA+) is a travel assistance product that provides valuable and reassuring medical assistance for those who get sick or hurt while traveling away from home in the U.S. or abroad, including medical evacuation, medical assistance, assistance for companions or pets, auto retrieval and travel assistance.
Available to NASW members and their families, EA+ offers a 24-hour year-round toll-free number to call for help when it’s needed most, no matter where in the world you are.

- What if you get hospitalized hundreds of miles from home and can’t drive your vehicle back? EA+ will arrange to have your car driven home.
- What if you’re hospitalized following an accident and due to medical necessity have to be transported to a different facility that may be miles away? EA+ will pay the expense necessary to get you to the most appropriate facility.
- What if your wallet is lost or stolen while you’re traveling? EA+ will arrange to have funds transferred right away to get you back on your feet.
- What if you need emergency dental care while you’re traveling? EA+ offers a 24-hour locator service that will help you find a professional, competent dentist in the area.
