As an Associate Professor and Field Director of Social Work at Ohio Dominican University, Dr. Ebony has been a dedicated educator and mentor. Her previous role as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of Cincinnati allowed her to implement initiatives that promote social justice within academic settings. Dr. Ebony also served as the first Black woman president of the ACLU of Ohio, where she championed civil rights and advocated for the marginalized.
Dr. Ebony’s expertise extends to the global stage through her involvement with the Warner Music Group Global DEI Institute, where she collaborates with top DEI professionals to foster cultural competency and social impact in the music industry.
Educationally, Dr. Ebony holds a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, where her research addressed critical issues within child welfare in Black communities. Additionally, she has a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University.
